Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for the Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship Program must satisfy the following requirements:

Applicants must be under 35 years old when they apply for the fellowship.
Candidates for the fellowship must be citizens of a country designate by the OECD’s Development Assistance Committee as having low- or middle-income BWC State Party status. It recommends that applicants check if their country is on this list to confirm eligibility.
Applicants must have earned a degree in life sciences or a related field from an authorized university or institution. If they have a social science background but are interested in biosecurity and health security, they may consider.
